Alamo City Comic Con 2014 recap

Last week Sideshow set out for the deep heart of Texas, to premiere our first-ever booth at Alamo City Comic Con in San Antonio. Here are our highlights from the show!
After the team took in some local color and culture around the city ā learning first-hand that there is no basement in the Alamo, ascending the Tower of the Americas, and getting schooled on the differences between usingĀ ya’ll, ya’lls and ya’lls’s ā it was time to get down to business! We brought tons of cool items to put on display, and setup was fast and easy, thanks to a little help from our friends…

Kellam and Susan had a blast mingling with fans, and even got to surprise a few lucky ones with hourly giveaways!
On the last day we teamed up with Stan ‘The Man’ Lee to donate a signed Hulk Maquette for an auction benefiting Susan G. Komen, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives and ending breast cancer.
A big thanks and congratulations to ACCC for putting on a wonderful 2nd annual show, we hope to see you again next year!
Sideshow would also like to thankĀ Alfredo āAppleā De La Fuente, Scott Harben, Ray and Adam from Heroes & Fantasies and our team of volunteers JL, Laura, Jesse, and Ben.
