Wakanda Forever. In a surprise announcement, director Ryan Coogler appeared onstage at San Diego Comic-Con 2026. In Hall H, Coogler revealed he will return to the MCU to direct Black Panther 3. The Marvel film follows Nakia and T’Challa’s son, who was shown at the end of Black Panther 2. Now, that child has grown up — and will become the new Black Panther. And the film’s new star? David Jonsson, a prolific actor well deserving of this immense stardom.
