An Empire of Elegance: Discover Nekro’s Darth Vader Bust

By Sideshow on Aug 7, 2026

Prepare yourself for a galaxy gone Gothic.

Sideshow’s newest three-dimensional collaboration with Nekro XIII is the Darth Vader™ Fine Art Bust. This stunning Star Wars™ collectible combines Imperial iconography with Baroque aesthetic, creating a new way for fans to experience one of cinema’s most iconic villains.

About the Artist: Nekro XIII

Based out of Spain, Nekro XIII (or just Nekro for short) is an illustrator and digital artist whose unique works combine elements of collage and photocomposition in both two- and three-dimensional renderings. Nekro’s work is primarily used as book covers for world renowned publishers, but has also included multiple collaborations with Sideshow for projects focusing on characters from Marvel, DC, Star Wars, and Alien.

His subjects often include nature, cinema, and video games, transforming iconic characters and landscapes into surreal structures that incorporate the stylistic elements of Baroque art and Gothic architecture. Desaturated, often monochromatic palettes give his unmistakable designs an elegant, imposing presence.

Nekro lists H.R. Giger, Allen Williams, Andrew Jones, Simon Lee, and Zdzisław Beksiński among his biggest influences. Previous clients have included Wizards of the Coast, Sony, Blizzard, Square Enix, FromSoftware, and more.

Darth Vader™ Fine Art Bust

Sideshow and Nekro’s latest collaboration focuses on the Dark Lord of the Sith, whose shadow looms large across the entire galaxy. The Darth Vader™ Fine Art Bust is a high-end collectible that transforms the two-dimensional collage style into a fully realized work of three-dimensional art.

Every surface of Vader’s iconic silhouette has been sculpted with immense detail for a look that is instantly recognizable but invites viewers to be mesmerized the intricacies and never-before-seen depiction of this unforgettable character.

The bust depicts Darth Vader’s distinct helmet and chest armor, fused with the signature visuals of Gothic architecture to create a design that both elegant and intimidating. His frightening visage is textured with floral patterns, organic shapes, and luxurious filigree, all painted to give the appearance of wrought-iron smithing.

True to Nekro XIII’s monochromatic palette, the metallic paint highlights further emphasize the light and shadow of the sculpt. The insignia of the Galactic Empire sits framed by the shape of a cathedral at Vader’s core, showing that the ancient ideals of the Sith give him strength and purpose as he seeks to conquer a rebellious galaxy. Every inch and angle of this Star Wars collectible (which measures 18.2″ tall x 16.4″ wide x 10.12″ deep) has been reimagined in immense detail, down to the space between his mask’s respirator grills.
