I’ve been collecting toys since I was a kid. I was always more into my action figures than video games like all my friends. I finally jumped on the Sideshow/Hot Toys bandwagon late in 2012 and haven’t looked back.

I’ve always told people if I like it I’ll want to collect it. However, as I got older I focused on Batman and Star Wars Collectibles. I’ve loved both since I could barely walk, watching the VHS tapes I had over and over on a daily basis.

His favorites:
I can never choose just one, they all have different memories attached to them. I’m partial to the toys from the ’89 Batman film that my wife re-acquired for me a few Christmases ago in their boxes.

His wishlist:

I’m hoping to beef up the Star Wars size of my collection and can’t wait for a 1/6 Return of the Jedi Luke and Episode: III Obi-Wan from Hot Toys. I’ll also keep banging the drum for Sideshow to do another run of 007 products since the quality has greatly improved since their last figures.

On his recent homemade Halloween costumes (right):
My mother had to make me a Robin shirt when I was around 5. I had been watching the 66′ series and really liked Robin, but they made nothing for him. Twenty-five years later not much has changed. No Robin anywhere, I couldn’t even find a red onesie in stores for my son. I cut the sleeves off a red fleece and printed out the symbols. I recently found out the symbols on the original 66′ costumes were made from cardboard. So, if it’s good enough for TV it’s good enough for us.
