Loved it so much I saw it twice! I went in with no expectations and left with a smile on my face. I think the incorporation of music that I recall hearing in my early childhood along with the space adventure visuals and great dialogue gave me a sense of nostalgia and similar glee I got from movies I loved as a kid. Dave Bautista’s performance as Drax the Destroyer was a clear standout. The sincere gravitas of his deadpan delivery was both hilarious and charming. If anyone at Sideshow sees me randomly bursting out in a chuckling fit, I’m probably remembering one of his lines. I’ve seen the film twice, and I can’t wait to see it again. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the story line, characters, wit and comedic presence. It has a very logical struggle of good vs. evil, that makes you ask yourself, what you would do in the same situation. – Matt Boisjolie
