The mischievous miscreant herself, Dr. Harleen Quinzel AKA Harley Quinn, is back – and she’s ready to add some glamour (and danger!) to your DC comics collection. We’re thrilled to announce our latest collaboration with Stanley “Artgerm” Lau – bringing a new femme fatale to his high fashion and pop culture inspired 1:5 scale Artist Series!
Ordinarily, there’s nothing glamorous about a traditional Jester’s costume. After all, with its jangling bell-laden hood, slashed jerkin, flared pantaloons, stockings, and curly toed shoes, its very purpose was to make the wearer look like a buffoon! But Artgerm has taken that old-school fool’s garb and given it a truly inspired catwalk-style twist. Harley Quinn’s new wardrobe manages to be equal parts alluring and utterly insane – just like Dr. Quinzel herself!
Standing approximately 17″ tall, and combining Stanley’s bold colors and sleek costume design with Sideshow’s love of fine detail and intricate textures, this eye-catching museum quality collectible is something beautiful to behold. Painstakingly sculpted and expertly painted, and positively overflowing with those little artistic touches and subtle nuances that keep you coming back for just one more glance.
