Hot Toys debuts new Marvel Avengers: Age of Ultron ‘Artist Series’ Collection

Expanding their popular line of collectible figures, Hot Toys is excited to announce an new Artist Mix Collection, featuring collaborations with different artists and designers to re-imagine movie characters with unique style. To kick things off, they’ve teamed up with famous Japanese toy artist Touma* to introduce their first series of Artist Mix Figures based on one of the most anticipated movies of 2015 – Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron!

This first series will include Iron Man Mark XLIII, Captain America, Hulkbuster, Ultron Prime, and two versions of Ultron Sentry. Each Artist Mix Figure has a bobble-head and stands approximately 14cm tall (Hulkbuster stands approximately 20cm tall), perfectly capturing the movie characters with Touma’s distinctive art style.

In celebration of the launch of this new collectible series, a deluxe set will be available that includes the powerful Hulkbuster and Mark XLIII (Battle Damaged Version) which is exclusive to this figures’ set.

Touma is a Japanese toy character designer. He started his career at a video game company 10 years ago. In 2001, he established his own workshop and started to become a figurine artist. He had his solo exhibitions and autograph sessions not only in Japan, but also in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and America. He collaborated with many major brands such as Monster Hunter, Star Wars, Transformers, AVP, Godzilla, Power Rangers, and more.

Recently, Touma and his 3D animation partner Shiroma collaborated with Hot Toys for the first time to ignite the Artist Mix Collection series to further expand the diversity of mini figures collection. The series is based on the 2015 Marvel Studios blockbuster, Avengers: Age of Ultron, which perfectly blends the iconic characters with Touma’s unique design style. ( )
