MARVEL RELEASES NEW TEASER POSTER FOR BLACK PANTHER!

WARNING: POTENTIAL SPOILERS

This morning, Marvel Studios tweeted out the first official poster for the upcoming Black Panther movie!

Marvel’s tweet also announced that the first teaser trailer for Black Panther would be released on tonight, during the NBA Finals.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther is set shortly after the events of Captain America: Civil War, which introduced Chadwick Boseman’ as T’Challa.  The new movie sees the newly crowned king of Wakanda face off against Killmonger, played by Michael B. Jordan.

The amazing cast includes Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o playing Nakia, and The Walking Dead’s Danai Gurira will take on the role of Okoye.  Andy Serkis will reprise his role from Avengers: Age of Ultron as the cutthroat Ulysses Klaue.

Marvel‘s synopsis for the movie reads:

Black Panther follows T’Challa who, after the events of Captain America: Civil War, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T’Challa’s mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.”
