Nerdy Netflix News for May 2017
Forget spring cleaning, spring streaming is just around the corner! Whether you’re picking a new series to binge watch or catching up on more of your favorites, Netflix has announced plenty of new and returning shows to keep you entertained this spring. Check out some of the highlights from the Netflix streaming May list!
New to Netflix in May, Riverdale, the hit CW show based on the Archie comics legacy, will be streaming its first season.
Marvel’s Doctor Strange will also be available to watch starting May 30th, so you can project into the astral plane and watch it at home. The BBC drama Sherlock, also starring Benedict Cumberbatch, will stream season 4 on May 15th.
The Netflix original sci-fi series Sense8 (which was co-created by J. Michael Straczynski!) will premiere its second season on May 5th. Season 3 of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will by available starting May 19th.
Netflix has also announced that coming soon, fans will get season 2 of Supergirl, season 3 of The Flash, and season 12 of Supernatural, though no dates have been announced yet for streaming. This will be a perfect opportunity to catch up on all of the awesome shows from The CW!
Finally, be sure to catch Jurassic Park 1-3 and Bob’s Burgers season 2 before they leave the streaming site at the very beginning of the month. If you miss them on Netflix, life, uh, finds a way. But watch them now before it’s too late!
