Last year, Sideshow released our very first phone game: Phoney Phantoms! Now Phoney Phantoms is getting a 2023 update just in time for Spooktacular 2023. Check out what’s new below.

Phoney Phantoms

In Phoney Phantoms, you’ll play as the dashing nonbinary knight Ser Sideshow while using their super-powered feather to fight against the Scarlett Sentry’s minions. Phoney Phantoms includes multiple game modes, including the opportunity to earn real world Rewards.

This charming mobile game features hand-drawn and animated artwork, plus nine challenging levels of retro arcade action. It is available for iPhone® and iPad® through the Apple App Store®, as well as for Android® through the Google Play Store®.

We’re so glad you asked! Our developers have added plenty of exciting details and brand new dimensions to Phoney Phantoms this season, including…

More Rewards Points

Veteran players will already know that you gain real life Sideshow Rewards (essentially online shopping credit) from beating the game levels. But if you’ve already collected all the codes the game offers, we have a special surprise for you. We’ve added more!

Everyone can use these new codes even if you’ve gotten Rewards from this game before. However, you’ll need to use the brand new reset button located on the level select screen to access them. When you reset, it clears out the codes you’ve already received so that you can get new ones. The new Rewards total up to $25 USD.

Updated Art and Characters

Keep your eyes peeled for special cameos! The mysterious Miss Fortune makes an appearance in Phoney Phantoms. There’s also additional updated art in Phoney Phantoms 2023, just to keep everything fresh.

New Stages in Arcade Mode

There are new areas to explore within Phoney Phantoms. Get into the spooky season mood with special backgrounds available exclusively in Arcade Mode.

Setting to Switch Between Songs

Finally, you now get to pick the music you listen to as you traverse each level. Additionally, there’s a new song! Players can switch between all three musical scores on the main menu. You’ll have your choice of original, winter, and Spooktacular 2023 themes to choose from. And as always, you’ll be able to adjust your volume settings for both the music and sound effects.
