Splatoon Raiders Release Date Confirmed

Nintendo released the release date reveal trailer for Splatoon Raiders. “Splat scores of enemies with colored ink and go treasure hunting in #SplatoonRaiders, a new single-player-focused game! Play as a mechanic working with Deep Cut, a trio of swashbuckling musicians, and venture out into the mysterious Spirhalite Islands! Customize your appearance, equip mechanical gadgets and ink-splattering weapons, and take on hordes of aggressive sea creatures called Salmonids in search of treasure.” In the trailer, we get to see the character creation process, and then we get to see a preview of the single-player experience. Splatoon Raiders premieres on Nintendo Switch 2 on July 23, 2026.

SoulQuest Premiere

Developers SoulBlade Studios LLC and TomasJPereyra, along with publisher indie.io are releasing their video game SoulQuest. “Carve your path through hordes of enemies, defying the gods to seize the power of Morrigan, Goddess of Death, and retrieve the soul of your beloved! SoulQuest combines amazing gameplay with the unique Celtic mythology into one, action-packed mixture! ” SoulQuest is on Steam now.

Wednesday S3 First Look

Netflix released the first picture from Season 3 of their series Wednesday. We get to see the character standing underneath The Eifel Tower, while Thing stands on a motorcycle. Wednesday is holding a piece of paper in her hand, likely a clue for this season’s mystery. The caption simply reads, “From Paris, with dread.” Season 3 of Wednesday has no release date at this time.

Absurdaverse Announced

Variety confirmed that Rockstar Games co-founder Dan Houser is developing a new universe. He calls it the Absurdaverse, and it’s both a TV series and video game franchise. It’s described as an “interconnected comedy satire universe with an untitled animated series and an untitled original AAA story-driven open world video game project currently in development.”
