How To Submit Photos for Sideshow’s Collector Community
Greetings, geeks! We want YOU to join our Collector Community, which simply means submitting photos of your collection and collectibles to our website. With those, we can show off what you’ve got and let other collectors know how fellow fans display their statues, sixth scale figures, and more.
Additionally, when you upload photos to our website, you have the chance to be featured in our Collector Community social media posts. Every week, we’ll share our favorite pictures on our Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook to celebrate your awesome contributions. Take a look at our first post here!

Step 1
Go to sideshow.com and enable social cookies. Then, look at the top of the website, right under the SIGN IN and CART options. There you will find a dropdown menu under “Our Story”. Click the SOCIAL section.
Step 2
The SOCIAL section will take you to the Collector Community page. There you will find hundreds of collection photos from geeks just like you. The grid contains collectibles from Sideshow, Court Of The Dead, Sideshow Art Prints, Atomic Misfit, and Unruly Industries. Basically, anything you collect, we want to see!
Once you’ve decided which pictures you’d like to share, click on the upload button in the top right corner (the bracket and arrow).
It will change to the word ‘Submit’ once you hover your mouse over the upload button. Click that!
Step 3
Decide how you want to upload. There are many different options, from uploading directly off your computer or grabbing pictures from your Facebook, Instagram, or Dropbox.
Click the applicable icon. For the purposes of this blog, we’ll use the computer upload option.
Step 4
As shown in the image above, click and select or drag and drop a file into the designated square. For this blog, we’re using the Iron Man Mark XLIII Sixth Scale Figure by Hot Toys.
You will be prompted to enter media details such as a caption. You can also upload multiple files at a time once you reach this Media Details page. Once you’re done, click the green NEXT arrow.
Step 5
You will be asked to enter your details. These are your name and email address. You will also be asked to verify through a check-box that you are over 18 and agree to the Terms of Use.
If your image was uploaded successfully, you’ll see this page/message, where you can continue to upload images or exit.
Congratulations! You won’t see your photo on the site right away, but if you see the little green smiley face icon (pictured above) that means we received your upload. We will review your images for consideration in the Collector Community gallery.
You can also upload photos to the Collector Community on individual product pages instead of through the Sideshow home page. This is the same process as above, just at the bottom of that item’s specific product page (as pictured below).
