How and when did you start collecting?

I started collecting action figures several years ago, at a very young age. From Kenner Star Wars toys to Mego Marvel and DC super heroes. But I started collection Hot Toys 1/6 scale figures about four years ago.

What do you collect? Does your collection have a theme, such as Star Wars, Batman, etc.?

I basically collect 1/6 scale figures. I like them because you can pose them in different ways (which generally remind me of a special moment in a movie or comic), and because of the amazing level of detail of their costumes and facial expressions. I collect Star Wars, Marvel and DC figures.

What makes your collection unique?

My collection is very diverse. For instance I have Star Wars characters from several different movies. For DC and Marvel, I have characters based both on movies as well as comics. So there is a little bit of everything for all tastes.

What are your favorite or the most prized pieces in your collection?

Hard to say, each piece is highly prized. But if I have to pick a few, I’d say Superman and Batman from Sideshow (the first ones I bought which got me into collecting more),  and Darth Vader from Hot Toys (a favorite movie character).

What items are on your wish-list?

Captain Kirk 1/6 scale and the Joker quarter scale. I missed the opportunity to buy them and now I’m waitlisted!
