How and when did you start collecting?

I’ve been collecting since I was a teenager.  It started with some of the original Takara Masterpiece Transformers, Hot Toys Joker from The Dark Knight, and the Hot Toys Iron Man Mark III, from the first Iron Man movie.  The engineering and authenticity of these were beyond anything I’d seen before, and from then on, I was hooked!

What do you collect? Does your collection have a theme, such as Star Wars, Batman, etc.?

For the longest time, I stuck to Hot Toys figures of The Dark Knight and Iron Man only, but as they expanded their licenses, I went in on a lot of their more nostalgic movie properties. Then Takara Masterpiece Transformers made a huge evolution in their figures, and Lego had started making some amazing Star Wars Ultimate Collectors Series sets, and they brought me even deeper into my collecting habits.  I even dabbled into model kits with a couple Gundam Perfect Grade Unicorn variants.

What makes your collection unique?

I think that the biggest strength to my collection is the sheer variety.  From Robocop and Terminator, to Star Wars, Transformers,  Marvel, DC, Lego, and Gundam.  This collection is as unique to me and my tastes as my fingerprints.

What are your favorite or the most prized pieces in your collection?

My three most prized items right now are my Lego UCS Millennium Falcon, my Gundam Perfect Grade Phenex, and my Hot Toys 1/6th Scale Hulkbuster.  My next Holy Grail will arrive early next year, as I was a backer of the Haslab Transformers Unicron.

What items are on your wish-list?

The Hot Toys Infinity War Thanos, the Lego UCS Star Destroyer, and the Hot Toys Iron Man Mark LXXXV are what I’m working towards right now.
