How and when did you start collecting?

I started collecting statues in 2004 and my first statues were from Lord of the Rings by Weta. Soon after I was inside Sideshow website and I was really impressed with such pieces as the Predator 1:1 bust, Alien queen bust and the first Premium Format Figures! I was saying “WOW”at every new product! This was the beginning that Sideshow started for so many collectors around the world!

What do you collect? Does your collection have a theme, such as Star Wars collectibles, Batman, etc.?

I collect mainly premium formats, 1:1 busts and maquettes from movies! I have some pieces from Marvel, but I prefer movies mostly. I am a cinema fan and in these statues I see my childhood and all this love I put in movies like Star Wars, Alien, Predator, Terminator, Lord of the Rings and of course the universal monsters classics diamonds! I remember these moments when I was sitting and watching these films like a real addict! 🙂 My collection theme is mostly from these movies!

What makes your collection unique?

I believe every collection is unique, because we put so much effort and love into this! In my collection, I try to have the best representation of every character I love, I will go for the overall best quality piece and size! I do my best to have the best of the best!

What are your favorite or the most prized pieces in your collection?

I love every piece in my collection but I have a special love to my 3 alien maquettes and the 1:1 Darth Maul bust! They represent perfectly my 2 favorite movies, Alien and Star Wars!

What items are on your wish-list?

For sure the silver screen mummy to complete my universal monsters, Predator maquette, Predalien maquette and I would love to see new aliens, Predators and Sith lords! I wish to see a Premium Format of Emperor Palpatine from Episode 3!
