Class is in session with Sideshow’s Potions Master Challenge. We want to see your brand-new, unique, never-before-seen, and entirely-made-up potion creation. The best part? Your creativity could win you a Severus Snape Premium Format Mixed Media™ Figure.
So, do you have what it takes to bottle fame and brew glory? Show us what you’ve got, students! Create a potion that would earn you an O for Outstanding during your O.W.L. and N.E.W.T. exams.

Potion Directions and Regulations
Directions:
Invent a magical potion
Name your potion
Describe the “magical effect” this potion has
Film yourself “brewing” your potion
That’s it. However, we have some further rules for your potion ingredients and effect. Please read the following list thoroughly. And read it before you brew.
Regulations:
Do not eat your potion
Do not drink your potion
Do not apply your potion to your body
Potions should not be flammable
Potions should not be combustible
Please be mindful of your health and safety while brewing. Do not put any of your potion on your skin or hair. Please do not ingest your concoction or use household chemicals. Also, don’t feed it to your loved ones or pets. You never know if they’ll need a bezoar, and that’s a scary situation to be in.
The contest opens at 12 AM PT on Monday, October 26, 2026 and runs until 11:59 PM PT on Sunday, November 1, 2026.
How To Enter
There are 2 different ways to enter this contest. Multiple entries do NOT increase your chances of winning. Use one or the other to make your video part of this challenge. Remember, no matter what, your video must be publicly available so that Sideshow Staff are able to view it.

Sideshow presents the Severus Snape Premium Format Mixed Media™ Figure, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP). This officially licensed Harry Potter™ collectiblewill make fans feel as though they are in the hallowed halls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The Severus Snape Premium Format Mixed Media™ Figure measures 20.20″ tall x 8.53″ wide x 8.36″ deep as the Potions professor stands with rigid posture and a stern demeanor. Elusive and eternal as the Dark Arts themselves, his heart and mind remain hidden behind a practiced, placid expression.
This Severus Snape collectible is dressed in sweeping black fabric robes and sculpted boots offset by crisp white at his tunic sleeves and collar. Every detail of Professor Snape’s original costume has been carefully recreated, from the wizard’s black cravat to the subtle pockets and numerable buttons on his cassock overcoat. The bottom of the statue resembles the stunning stone and oak architecture that makes up Hogwarts Castle, including numerous archways and pillars crawling with moss and ivy. Additionally, its round base features all four Hogwarts House crests, with Slytherin on the front and Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff visible from other angles.
