As October approaches, we need to get the spooky season vibes going strong. We’re sure you’re already decorating and figuring out your Halloween costume. But if you really need to set the macabre mood, you need a TV and/or movie marathon.

So on your marks, ready, set, and SCREAM! — oops, uh, we mean, stream. Below, find our Spooky Season Streaming Guide, which will tell you exactly where to find your favorite horror films and series for the perfect nefarious night in.

Halloween

Unfortunately, the Halloween movies are not all available in the same place. However, you can find the majority of them on Shudder and Paramount+. If you don’t mind hopping around services on your device, you could make an entire day out of the Halloween franchise. We all know Michael Myers has the stamina.

Friday the 13th

Let’s keep it going with the classics. The original Friday the 13th is available on Max, Hulu, and Paramount+. You could even see the whole thing with a free trial. But why stop there? Watch the subsequent Friday the 13th movies on the aforementioned services, as well as Netflix and AMC+. Go on, make Jason’s night.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre

We see yet another franchise marathon in your future — and this one is absolutely delicious. Start with Texas Chainsaw Massacre on Netflix, Tubi, Peacock, or Shudder. Rent or buy everything in the middle. Then, find the final installments in Leatherface’s family legacy on Max and Netflix.

Nightmare on Elm Street

A Nightmare on Elm Street is available on Max, Prime Video, Vudu, and Apple TV. Of course, that’s only the first of many films starring the sweater-wearing-slasher Freddy Krueger. You can rent or buy the others to really challenge your sleep cycle.

Chucky

Settle in with popcorn and a good guy doll for a day with Chucky! The Child’s Play movies are (mostly) all available on Prime Video. The latest original Chucky television series can be found on Prime as well as Peacock, with two seasons’ worth of wholesome serial killer family fun.

The Last Of Us

Based on a video game of the same name, The Last of Us season 1 is entirely available on Max (previously HBO Max). You can catch up with Ellie and Joel in this Max exclusive series before season 2 airs — tentatively predicted to release in a few years. Stranger Things

The sci-fi/horror TV show Stranger Things is a Netflix original. Of course, that means you can find it exclusively on Netflix. Stranger Things currently has 4 seasons (with the fourth split into two volumes), so you have plenty to catch up on before the fifth and final season turns your world Upside Down.

IT

You have a few options to watch IT Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. These horror films, based on Stephen King’s novel, are available on Prime, Max, and Apple TV. Some of these streaming services simply require a subscription, while others might prompt you to rent or buy in order to get jump-scared by Pennywise. We all stream down here.

Demon Slayer

You can watch most of Demon Slayer on Hulu — up to the Mugen Train Arc, that is. But if you want to see the most recent season of this groundbreaking anime, season 3, you’ll need access to Crunchyroll Premium.

Jujutsu Kaisen

Jujutsu Kaisen is also available on Crunchyroll. The first season, the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie, and part of season 2 are all available. However, season 2 is still actively airing. If you prefer to binge, you might want to hold off on subscribing just yet.
