Terminator Fans, Something Big Is Coming on Judgment Day!
This year, Terminator 2: Judgment Day celebrates its 35th anniversary as one of the greatest film sequels of all time. Fans of the sci-fi film will recall that Judgment Day, the date that Skynet became self-aware and launched a nuclear offensive on humanity, occurred August 29, 1997, according to Terminator lore.
Now, 35 years after the 1991 film release, Sideshow is teaming up with actor Robert Patrick and artist Ruiz Burgos to commemorate the occasion — T-1000 style.
Patrick famously portrayed the “mimetic polyalloy” liquid metal villain, the T-1000. This prototype model improved upon the T-800 and proved a formidable foe, sent back in time to assassinate John Connor before he could lead the human resistance.
The T-1000 Himself Teases a New Release
Ahead of Judgment Day, Robert Patrick left a message for Ruiz Burgos and for fans of Terminator 2…
Then artist Ruiz Burgos had his own reply…
