Every single day, we are bombarded by the news. But parsing through all the information is a difficult task. Luckily, you don’t have to do it alone. Sideshow has a daily podcast that brings you up to date on the most exciting and most relevant pop culture news each and every day.

So, let’s talk about the Pop Culture Headlines, and answer some questions you may have. However, if you just want to jump in right now, check out the podcast on Alexa, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and most other podcast platforms.

What Is It? Why Should I Listen?

The Pop Culture Headlines podcast is your go-to source for the biggest stories concerning Marvel, DC, Star Wars, and all the other brands and franchises you love. With all the information available across the internet, it can be overwhelming to discern legitimate sources and quality content. That’s why the Pop Culture Headlines focuses on only the biggest headlines of the day. We ensure that our news is confirmed by multiple sources.

Each day’s entry will feature four timely pop culture topics diving into everything you need to know about release dates, casting updates, exclusive first looks, and more! Our new podcast format offers even more detail than before on each news item. You’ll get clips from official trailers and newsworthy interviews delivered right alongside your headlines.

How Do I Listen?

Sideshow’s Pop Culture Headlines podcast can be found on Alexa, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and most podcast platforms.

The Pop Culture Headlines podcast is updated daily around 1-2 PM PT, and listeners can also check out a written version of each day’s big news by heading over to the official Sideshow Blog. There, you’ll find a shortened version of the day’s headlines from the podcast as well as visuals and links to keep exploring each news item. The blog is regularly published at 3 PM PT.

Is This a New Show?

Not even close. Our Pop Culture Headlines podcast has been keeping Sideshow customers up to date on the latest pop culture news since November 14, 2017 (including holidays!). Sideshow’s Pop Culture Headlines podcast is the longest-running shortform pop culture podcast out there — over 2,150 episodes have been released. As long as the news keeps coming, so will your Pop Culture Headlines!

That said, the format is new. Since October 9, we’ve leveled up the Pop Culture Headlines with more in-depth information and higher quality coverage. That way, if a trailer comes out, you’re likely to hear the most important bits on our show. But don’t worry! We never reveal spoilers from the newest TV shows and we never cover unconfirmed leaks. So our podcast is completely spoiler free!

What Topics Do You Cover?

Whether you’re looking for more info on casting updates for upcoming MCU projects, the newest trailer for a Star Wars TV series, James Gunn’s latest teaser about the developing DCU, or anything within the realm of geeky fandom, Sideshow’s Pop Culture Headlines has everything you need to stay a well-informed geek at all times. If you like The Lord of the Rings, Pokémon, The Witcher, anime, or even BTS, we keep you in the loop.
