Who Is Wonder Woman’s Daughter in DC Comics?

By Sideshow on Jul 14, 2023

Wonder Woman is one of the most powerful members of the Justice League. She is an immortal goddess who wields the Lasso of Truth. And now, just like Batman and Superman, she has a child. Her daughter is an extremely new character in the DC Comics Multiverse.

While very little has been revealed about her so far, what we do know about her is extremely exciting. Without further ado, let’s explore the facts we already know and the mysteries we’ve yet to uncover about Wonder Woman’s daughter.

Elizabeth Marston Prince

Back in the 1940s, William Moulton Marston was one of the creators of Wonder Woman. His wife, Elizabeth Marston, inspired and influenced the creation of Diana Prince herself. Thus, writer Tom King and artist Daniel Sampere paid homage to Diana Prince’s creation by naming her daughter Elizabeth Marston Prince.

At this point, her character is still shrouded in mystery. We do know that she is Diana Prince’s daughter. That said, we don’t know who her father is. In most stories, Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor are in love. But in others, Superman and Wonder Woman are a couple. Sometimes, Batman and Wonder Woman are a pair! Although, perhaps Lizzy Prince was created from clay just like her mother! Only time will tell.

Trinity

Yes, we know her real name. However, we don’t spend time with Lizzy Prince in Wonder Woman #800. Not really. Instead, we spend time with Trinity. Trinity is Lizzy’s super hero name. She arrives in her full super hero gear and she’s ready to save the day. Strangely, though, we don’t exactly know her mission. All we know is that Batman and Superman are at the entrance of a cave waiting for her. They all agreed to take on this dangerous mission. And, even after reading the comic, we’re not entirely sure what this mission is.

Still, we get a small glimpse of Trinity’s true power. She’s stronger and faster than Wonder Woman and wields the game golden Lasso of Truth. Additionally, she has two more lassos — one is pitch black and the other is white as pearls. Together, they are the Lassos of Fate. This issue doesn’t reveal their abilities just yet but luckily more of Trinity’s story will be revealed later this year.

Leader of the Justice League

In the comic, Jonathan Kent and Damian Wayne are waiting for Lizzy Prince. They are family. Lizzy even calls them her brothers. During the mission, this trio must confront hurdles all on their own. Superman suffers while in contact with the spirit called Pain. Meanwhile, Batman navigates combat with the spirit called Skill. Finally, Lizzy fights with the spirit called Honor. Then, she confronts a cloaked king.

Under the cloak, the king’s identity remains unknown. But the disgraced and jailed king seems to know Trinity, champion of the Amazons. She is the leader of the Justice League. And, of course, she is Diana Prince’s daughter. “So, it is true,” he says. “The Trinity has been forged, and she walks among mortal men.”
