With pearl-like eyes and a slightly open mouth, The Muse of Spirit appears offbeat and interested in the beyond. Expertly engineered and infinitely pose-able, the 18-inch tall, resin ball-jointed muses afford numerous opportunities to doll artists.
Each element is hand-made and individually cast; the body is hand-strung and astoundingly dynamic. This intricate and highly pose-able doll features articulation at her ankles, knees, hips, wrists, elbows, waist, shoulders, and neck. A back-head plate, dual-jointed neck, custom eye plug-ins, and magnetic hand attachments make for an extremely customizable figure.

Firstly, I love these dolls. I bought two. Customizing them is so much fun. They are the perfect intersection of BJD, Fashion, and Goth/Horror. They are well made, with resin that is finished nicely. The design compares with the aesthetic of an artisan BJD at 1/2 the price. They have the details you'd expect- unique face and hand combination, choice of inset or painted eye- which makes them very customizable. They are beautifully packaged. The one manufacturing flaw- weak magnets in the wrist joint. Both dolls I bought struggle here. For me, access to a stand would be nice. Fashion dolls have stands, and all the Sideshow stands are sold out. This doll is not a standard size, so finding a stand that looks good is near impossible.
Bought this doll and received her last February. Just had a face up and body blush done, as well as tattoos. She's now an ethereal street person in my household. This is a beautiful doll, well constructed and highly articulated. I'm very pleased with her.
