A wretched abomination, part mummified flesh and part tormented spirit, Avarkus, The Red Death drifts upon the celestial ether between the realms of the living and the dead. With an insatiable thirst for the avarice in men's souls, he seeks out those corrupted by greed to claim as his own.
In his hand he holds a mask of gold, which represents the face of his life's true desires, and on his back a rich and gruesome embroidered cloak imprisons the faces of those preeminent souls he has taken for Death's designs. But perhaps most horrific of all, from the odious sack of innards that spill out of his vacuous abdomen, vengeful spirits become a celestial torch and pitchfork wielding mob to exact a wicked justice for their host.
Having once lived a life of greed, now Death commands Avarkus to serve in the Court of the Dead and carry out his master plan - to rise, conquer and rule!

The Red Death was the latest addition to my collection. He seems very delicate in his size, but the glowing base and the gut-wrenching design is not only very impressive, it fits perfectly with his slim figure. He is truly an abomination in all the good ways!

This figure just arrived yesterday, and it is absolutely gorgeous, and so delicate I'm still half afraid his legs or his arms, or those very fine fingers will snap at a moment's notice. My only real issue is the metallic paint on the mask and jewelry doesn't pop as much as it could. Overall 9.9/10
