The piece really does do justice to Yhorm with the detail on his armor and throne being 10/10. I'm also glad to see the base and throne come in one piece with the only loose object being the cleaver. Usually I'm not a fan of statues coming as one piece but in this case everything is handled perfectly. The only downside of the statue I would say is the way the cleaver slots into one of the tiny guys on the base via a metal rod to his head. I didn't have a problem attaching it this time but if you plan to be slotting and un-slotting the cleaver a bunch BE CAREFUL. All in all 9.5/10
A really impressive statue, and a contender for best dark souls statue in my opinion. Great stoic pose and the way the guys are holding him up is really cool. This statue is pretty big so it would be pretty cool to see how it compares to the bigger one. To me the size of this one more then adequate and very manageable.
First off let me tell you straight away that this is a magnificent statue. Yhorm looks as intimidating as ever (easiest boss fight aside) and will command presence and attention in your collection. Having said that the little guys on the bottom holding the throne up are extremely, I mean EXTREMELY fragile. I wish PureArts would use PVC for the protruding parts. The crown is soft plastic and so should have been these guys. The one on the front where the machete goes into especially needs to be sturdier or rather non-fragile. My Yhorm's machete was unstable and it slid down with the slightest of force but ended up snapping the head of the little guy supporting the machete on the bottom. So be very very careful while handling this guy. This issue aside I love my Yhorm and hope you do too.
