Batman Blue Version
Sideshow and Yamato are proud to present the new Batman Blue Version Statue as our very first Sideshow Exclusive collaboration.
Due to the overwhelming reaction and demand to Yamato's very first FFG Batman Original Statue, here comes the second version in classic blue tone! This new statue comes with an embellished spotlight with special paint effects and a copper toned base!
Darkness… a time of celebration for the criminals who ooze out of whatever sewer, rat way or shadowy place they choose to hide in… before emerging, looking to prey upon the weak and threatening the balance to the city that I’ve sworn to protect. Joker, Riddler, Penguin, Ivy… Selena… I will stand between them and the citizens of Gotham, to keep what happened to my parents from happening to anyone else… it’s time for them to fear the darkness… time for them to fear the Batman!
The statue features his blue costume and includes a bat signal base, art card, numbered edition plate, and certificate.

Early into this hobby (lifestyle), I thought how I wanted a Batman that accentuated his cape. I started with Sideshow and sure enough, I found this badass statue, then later on the blue cape version released and I like it even more. This is everything I want and more for a Batman piece. It's not just the pose, it's his suit, body, and face that Luis Royo's rendition does so well, and Yamato USA nailed it with this sculpt (to me it's better than Royo's original artwork).
Normally the best Batman statue bases have gargoyles and/or some gothic/Victorian architecture; not this one...the Bat Signal right after Batman broke it from the weight of his landing says a lot about the story behind this particular Batman and what Luis Royo and Yamato USA were trying to share with fans.
I have most of the other pieces from the Luis Royo and Yamato USA collaboration, and I look forward to Royo doing Riddler, Scarecrow, Deathstroke, Robin, Talon, Mask of the Phantasm, Mr. Freeze, Penguin, etc.
