This version is an instant classic. It combines the best elements of the various incarnations of both Kal-El and his nemesis. I'm not a fan of the most recent version of the Superman (too dark) and the Kryptonians seem petty and unevolved. However, his costume contributes a good design element for this piece. And his classic good looks convey a more heroic manner than the angry and/or pained expressions of some other statues. The details in face and musculature is exquisite. The cape is cloth with a wire hem and can be posed which is a bit of a challenge for me. I will keep practicing. And the disembodied Brainiac head is a great idea. It can be removed for different viewers ( some of my friends kids might not like that when they come over to see it). But it also has the classic design elements of the evil AI. The base is very sturdy. It is simply amazing.

My exclusive edition arrived this week and unboxing it I was really impressed by the quality of the packaging and effort that Sideshow have put it to ensure it arrives safe and sound. Delivery was very quick and it was dispatched within 24 hours. Assembling the pieces was very easy and they all fit together perfectly. Once complete and put on display Superman looks incredible and the highlight of my collection, the beautiful colours bring to life the comic hero that we know and love. This is something I will cherish for many years to come.

This is a great statue and the pose is amazing! Great sculpt and a good piece to add especially if youre a Superman Fan. Not a huge fan of the New 52 but this statue and his classic look in his face made me want this piece! Great work Sideshow

This is my first Sideshow statue and I was not disappointed!

Wow! That was my first impression when I finally got over my excitement of the size of box. Putting the statue together was nice and easy and what a statue when built. Superman is my favourite character and this one is fantastic. Colours, detail, pose and brainiac. Awesome job on this one sideshow.
