Bela Lugosi as Dracula (Deluxe)
Love it, my favorite horror actor, playing my favorite monster looking the way he should, not the way portrayed anymore. So much better then i could hope for.
This is so much better than I ever expected. The sculpturing, fit of the clothing, and an incredible coffin couldn't be more spot on. I am so over the moon with this purchase.
It's a wonderful likeness of Bela Lugosi in his iconic role as Dracula. The two face sculpts are wonderful, and great care was taken in the likeness. The clothing and cape are beautifully done, The cape's tie is problematic, and I wish they had used magnets here to attach it. The strings get in the way, and there is no way to get the clear, string free appearance of the cape shown in these figures. The magnetic base is strong, though it gave me some struggle to get the feet positioned right. Which brings me to my No. 1 criticism: the stiffness of the joints and the limited range of mobility. Now, I am not expecting the Count to be able to ascribe a range of motion better left to Nadia Comaneci, but I'd like the figure to easily stand straight and hold out its arms. Neither could I accomplish easily, especially with the limited range of motion. In a $300 figure, I expect there to be a little more range. All in al, though, a good addition to my collection. Now do Frankenstein and the Wolf-Man!
Lovely piece; great likenesses(especially the leering sculpt). Very clever wiring in the jacket hem and stiffening in the cape's collar. The Count lives!
