This lavish collector’s edition comes in a specially commissioned, clamshell presentation box that is wrapped in Saifu cloth, which has been debossed and foil stamped with a Fremen design created specifically for Dune: Part Two.
The set consists of a limited-edition, cloth-bound copy of our book The Art and Soul of Dune: Part Two, with a debossed and foil-stamped cover; a matching cloth-bound and foil-stamped portfolio of six digitally-signed lithographic art prints, each showing concept art that was created for the film and specially selected by Dune: Part Two’s director Denis Villeneuve and by author and producer Tanya Lapointe; and a limited-edition prop replica of the thumper, which the Fremen use to summon the sandworms.
The replica thumper was made using the original VFX files that were used to create the film’s effects and is unique to this edition. Each thumper is wrapped in a hand-cut piece of cloth that was taken from the Dune: Part Two costume stores and has been cut from the same bolts of fabric that were used to make the film’s costumes.
Each copy of the artifact edition book has been individually numbered and signed by Dune: Part Two director Denis Villeneuve, as well the book’s author–Dune: Part Two producer Tanya Lapointe.
