Description

Building upon its extensive experience producing Godzilla sofubi products in Japan, ACRO is proud to launch a new line of Godzilla collectibles for international markets.

Partnering with renowned sculptor RYO (Nendo seijin), ACRO proudly introduces the Godzilla Remix Series.

Utilizing ACRO's U-Vinyl technology (burn-out mold process), the series faithfully reproduces the intricate details, textures, and sculptural nuances of the original artwork. This innovative process combines the unique appeal of sofubi with the level of detail typically found in high-end statues.

Comment from RYO (Nendo Seijin) on the Creation of Godzilla (1991)

I Sculpted this Godzilla with the image of him battling King Ghidorah amid the vast plains of Hokkaido, surrounded by clouds of dust rising from the earth. Another distinctive aspect of the design is its storytelling through sculptural details. Since Godzilla evolved from Godzillasaurus, I incorporated dinosaur-like feet that subtly evoke his prehistoric origins. I also included battle scars and bullet wounds reminiscent of his Godzillasaurus days, reflecting the character's history and evolution within the sculpt itself.

Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah was the film that sparked my love for Godzilla. (I was apparently taken to see Godzilla vs. Biollante as well, but I was still a baby and have no memory of it.) Because of that, I’m incredibly happy to have had the opportunity to create this version of Godzilla as the very first release in the series.
