I absolutely love the movie Iron Man 1 and the Mark III was the best suit in all the franchise movies in my opinion. The way it looked still amazes me. It has a weighty feel and it can not be faked. When I saw the Justin’s Collection review of it, I knew In my heart I was going to own it. I just had to figure out how to convince my beautiful wife. Mark III is worth every penny. I want to thank the hard working artist who took the painstaking task of creating this masterpiece. I love the detail throughout every inch of this suit. It is a sight to be seen in person. I am very impressed with how accurate this is to a mostly CGI suit in the film. Simply amazing…
This item is very impressive to look at, the articulation I’d say is better than a 1/6. If you’re thinking of buying a statue of Iron Man I’d consider getting a 1/4 scale first as you have posing options, the detail is better on 1/4 Hot Toys than a statue in my opinion., plus you have the size.
Light up features are A1 it the brightest I’ve seen on any Hot Toys figure, especially the eyes. If you have 1/4 Iron Men and don’t have this one DO Not miss this one., I was really surprised on how much I loved it when unboxing, the weight, paint, battle damage bits. World class piece of art from Hot Toys.
Amazing sculpting, amazing material, amazing figure, and amazing customer service
This is my first quater scale Hot Toys. I'm mainly in 1/6 scales (and mainly Iron Man). Disapponited by the plastic look and feel of the 1/6 scale diecast version of the Mark III, I decided to sell it to get the funds for this one. Boy, did I do the right thing! This 1/4 scale version is absolutely amazing! The pictures may say "prototype shown" but the finish product it pretty much the same.
Beautiful details, awesome paint finish (with a bit of wear and tear here and there) and incredible integrated weapons. When I first opened the box, I was expecting to find additional parts like the right forearm turned into a protective shield and the shoulder missile launchers, but there were no such pieces. I soon found out that they were already part of the figure! All I had to do is open parts of the armor to place them into position!
But for me, what is the main feature of this figure are the lights. You've seen the photos, so you know what I'm taking about. They come out a deeper and more purple color on the official pics. They're actually a kind of pale blue, like the 1/1 scale arc reactors made to be displayed. It is none the less beautiful when all the lights are on. And the fact that you can open the ribs of the armor to make the lights show even more just makes it better.
I really don't regret having to sell my 1/6 scale to buy this one. I never get tired of admiring this true work of art.
I can't overstate how wonderful this figure is. It's every bit as poseable ss the 1/6 scale but improved in every way. With the elaborate stand this has become the centerpiece of my collection, and easily one of my favorite things in general.
