Spider-Man 2099 was a popular 1992 Marvel comic series that jumped ahead in time and presented a new hero behind the mask Miguel O’Hara, better known as Spider-Man 2099. Living in an alternate future, the brilliant geneticist inspired by the surviving records of the legendary Spider-Man, sought to create a similarly powered individual, has accidentally re-written his DNA with a spider’s genetic code.

My first Hot Toy and not my last one. It looks amazing. Can’t wait to display it.
This Spidey suit is amazing! Love the color scheme and detail on the suit. Have owned for around 2 months now and have had no issues with the suit creasing as of yet. I have put in some dynamic poses for about 1-3 days at a time and have had no issues with creases staying or with the red logo coming off. The Spider-Man logo seems to be well glued on my figure, but time will tell if that holds up. Will probably keep in the finger pointing pose especially once I get the classic suit next year. An amazing Spider-Man to add to any collection and a must have suit for all Spidey fans.
Ok so first off this thing is amazing, quite spectacular if I do say myself. The texture is not what I imagined but it feels awesome! One the right side of his body his stitching looks like murder. It is just terrible, but everywhere else it is immaculate so I’m not sure what went wrong there. The color really isn’t black it’s dark blue. Not sure why they call it black, but I’m fine either way. Have been a big fan of 2099 since his original series. The hands are beautifully crafted and very detailed. The different webs are awesome and attach nicely to the removable web shooters. They did not skip any detail when making this figure, even the soles of the shoes are amazing. It comes with a unique stand that is flexible. The stand has enough weight to it so the figure shouldn’t cause it to fall when bent at certain angles. It comes with a clamp that goes around his waist to hold him in place. This is my second Spider-man figure, but my first one out of box and it’s just great! A little disappointed with the stitching but it’s not torn and no loose strings. I just wish he came with his cape from the comics, but this version is based off the PS4 game.
It only took 2 day’s to deliver from the USA to the U.K. It’s a great figure but as with virtually all of the other Spidey outfits, only time will really tell if the suit holds up to cracking or peeling. Anyway, for now it’s well worth the purchase price. Another 5* from Sideshow.
Spiderman 2099 is my most fav. It be nice if the head could be swap out different expression and more flexible poses to do signatur moves. But neverless the figure and quality is top noch.
