l love this
I love it
Awesome figure!!!! why only 4 stars? On my figure the claws keep falling out of their slots. What I did to remedy this is I put a small pinch of sticky putty in the slots and no more claws falling out of position plus the sticky putty is not permanent so it wont hurt your investment/figure, The final thing is and this is in general the comic book wolverine is kinda short and it would of been cool if this sixth scale figure would of been true to scale. But overall this is a awesome figure and is Hot Toys caliber.
This is the Wolverine figure I've been waiting for since I was a kid. I have a bunch of Hugh Jackman figures with claws coming out of their knuckles but THIS is Wolverine. Although I like the classic tiger stripe costume more, I much prefer the head sculpt on the astonishing version. The 3 pairs of arms give you a good number of options to pose him with. I put a little blu tac in his hands so the claws stay put, no problem. My only concern is the blue shiny material on his thighs being damaged or forever wrinkled if I leave him in deep crouching poses. I started collecting sixth scale with Sideshow's Buffy and Hellboy figures and I have a renewed confidence and support with them again thanks to their recent Michael Myers and this outstanding figure. Great work Sideshow, and thank you!
This is Wolverine in a nutshell. Honestly, all the joints are pretty stiff on my particular figure. The claws on mine don't really seem to fall out either, as most people were saying. If you really really want to pose him in like a deep crouch in might be difficult, but you could still do it. But overall, everything is pretty rad honestly. The sculpted arms look really good in my opinion, but the the articulated ones are very good for pretty much any pose, just lacks a little bicep swivel. The only cons would be, there are two tiny little black dots near the elbow on the sculpted right arm, but you will never be able to see them unless you're pretty up close, nor would you be able to see them in the pictures at all, so not a big deal. There is also a tiny little separation in the seam right below his right armpit, but once again, you can't see it, and it's nothing major at all, I've seen worse on this figure. Lastly, the eyes could be more white with natural light. I have a puck light pointed on his eyes, under lighting him and it looks super super sick. Looks like his eyes are glowing! But sometimes during the normal daytime or in general his eyes look more silver or grey than white. Overall, if you're a fan of the classic Wolverine look, there is no mistaking who this is from a mile away, and I don't think we will be getting another Tiger Stripe suit anytime soon. So I would definitely recommend it. It may be a tiny below Hot Toys quality, but it is still pretty much there in my opinion. I will always love the 90s Animated Show, and if you do too, this is kinda a must have.
