"May the Great Bird of the galaxy bless your planet!"
Helmsman of the U.S.S. Enterprise, Lieutenant Hikaru Sulu was the steady hand that guided Starfleet's finest ship through five years of the unknown. Cool under fire and unshakably loyal to his captain, Sulu could thread the Enterprise through an ion storm or a Romulan ambush without raising his voice. Off duty he was a man of endless enthusiasms, a botanist, a collector of antique firearms, and a fencer whose swashbuckling streak once sent him charging through the corridors, foil in hand. It was the first sign of the daring that would one day earn him a captain's chair of his own.
Sulu was brought to life by George Takei, whose warmth, dignity, and unmistakable voice made the Enterprise's helmsman one of the most beloved figures in science fiction. Across three seasons and six feature films, Takei gave Star Trek a pioneering hero and helped define Gene Roddenberry's vision of a future where everyone has a place on the bridge. EXO-6 is proud to celebrate that legacy with this museum-grade tribute.
This 1:6-scale figure re-creates Lieutenant Sulu exactly as he appeared at the helm of the Enterprise, standing approximately 30 cm tall. The hand-painted portrait captures his focused gaze and the hint of a smile, with precisely sculpted hair. More than 30 points of articulation allow the figure to be displayed in a wide range of poses. His command tunic is tailored in textured fabric with a black collar, an embroidered Starfleet command insignia, and lieutenant's rank braid at the cuffs, and is paired with black uniform trousers and boots. Every element, from his duty uniform to his landing-party equipment, has been faithfully reproduced to the finest detail.
