My first impressions when I first saw this was....nope, not worth it. But, after thinking things through. Pulled the trigger and boy was I wrong about what I first thought!! C3PO is OUTSTANDING!!!! I'm so very happy that I have this droid in my collection now!! You just can't have C3PO without R2-D2(Deluxe), waiting on it to arrive sometime between DEC 2020 to Jan 2012( date was pushed back).

3PO looks like he was plucked right out of the Dune Sea and plopped onto my shelf! The LED batteries died after a few uses which was a bummer, but I am very glad to say that it seems as though the thumb issues had been resolved—mine aren't awkward looking at all! His head looks way more accurate in person than in the above prototype photos, too. Looking forward to my R2 that's coming this October. Thanks, Sideshow!

I cannot believe how great this figure is, I have heard negative remarks about his oil stains being too heavy but this is how he would have looked in the film with exaggerated wear as all the props and costumes had. The detail with his pistons on his limbs and paint finish stunning! 10/10

Nice addition to my Star Wars line up. Great detail and articulation. Best touch is the light up eyes with just a tap. Shame the other 1/6 figures arent as easy to use.
