My 3rd Hot Toys and wow it is incredible in hand. It may not go too well with my Captain Rex because of the chrome color, but it is a beautiful stand-alone piece. I plan on getting a light to shine on it so the chrome can reflect it better. Incredible Hot Toys and if you can find one I'd recommend it if you love clone wars.
I think that this figure is an excellent choice for a convention exclusive because of the limited appeal of the stylization of the figure. Because of the potential difficulty in getting a hold of convention exclusives, I'd much rather a variation like this over a particular clone. Something like this is easier to pass on over something that could be a fan favorite character. If you like well done chrome finished armor, however, this is a spectacular figure! The chrome finish is really sweet. It is richly colored and looks like real brushed chrome. If you have any of the Hot Toys clones, you know the quality of the figure, the assortment of accessories and hands, articulation, and the inclusion of both Phase I and Phase II helmets. If you appreciate a very well executed specialty figure, this Clone trooper is a definite reccomend... if you can find one. These sold out off the Sideshow site almost immediately. I'm pretty sure that they were limited to one figure per customer, but I would have happily bought two so I could display both helmet options.

Wow! This figure is a wonderful step towards Hot Toys more creative side with Star Wars figures. A simple Clone Trooper sculpt but with that shiny paint job 👌 This figure is the eye candy of my Hot Toys collection. It's so perfect to look at. It's bittersweet that this figure was an exclusive because I'd love to have more or see more of my friends with one but also it feels really great to be one of the few of my friends that snagged this beauty. Would absolutely buy again if I could!
