Echo is an absolutely outstanding release from Hot Toys. This figure is beyond beautiful from every angle. I did not want to have to purchase the whole team, but it looks like now I am going to have to because the last survivor of Domino Squad is going to need his brothers. Echo is everything a clone should be, he is the pinnacle of the Kaminoan cloner's art and I am proud to have him on my shelves. Hot Toys please WE NEED ARC ECHO TOO.
Echo is easily one of my absolute favorite Hot Toys. He's easy to pose (though the head sculpt is a little tricky to put on), and looks fantastic. Plus, he has one of the best head sculpts I've seen. There's a lot of expression on his face, which is all the more impressive since Temuera Morrison has never portrayed him. Love this one.
Echo's face is a beautiful detailed headsculpt with the feeling "how a clone looks would he have gone to the same things as echo". I understand they had to take creative freedom to make the head fit and it worked out rather well! He is pretty sturdy and all utilities can be connected easily. I did however have some problems attaching the head sculpt, which cost me a decent amount of force. Also I noticed he is a wee bit taller than my other clones as he has longer robotic legs, which is a cool detail. He also has a lot of custom parts which all are worked out in great detail reflecting the bad batch animations perfectly. The only comments I could think of would be the use of pleather for his undersuit (if i'm correct) and all the utilities he came with are not really necessary as I have never seen them anywhere else. Where they concept stuff, where they taken out of the show, I don't know, maybe we see it in season two? They are still cool but increase the price a lot. Overall a great figure that I would definitely recommend!!!
After waiting over a year, Echo has finally arrived. I was pleased with the quality of the armor, appendages, and the details of everything. The articulation was nice and stiff, but not difficult to move. My only complaints are the likeness of the head sculp and the backpack. The head does not show much resemblance to Temuera Morrison. As with the Cody and Rex figures, the nose is very narrow and pointed. Tem's nose is not that way at all. The backpack does not sit flush with the magnetic plate on his back. The backpack either needs to be a few millimeters higher to miss the back belt pack, or the back of the magnet needs to stick out another few millimeters. Otherwise, the back belt pack is in the way, and therefore the backpack falls off easily since it's not flush. Other than that, I am very happy with my Echo figure.
