This Archive Collection Signature Edition comes with a plaque signed by Christian Alzmann, who digitally sculpted the original “Huttlet” maquette for the film and is also known for his original 2D designs for the look of Grogu!
In the film, a young Rotta, who is the son of Jabba the Hutt, is shown by “The Twins” as a hologram as they send Mando on his mission to find the missing Hutt. Mando and Grogu find a much larger and less cooperative Rotta awaits them as their adventure kicks off.
Fans first glimpsed the original maquette when it featured in a major exhibition of the props from the movie when the film was in theaters and later got to see it at San Diego Comic Con in the Lucasfilm Pavillion. Working from the original digital sculpture files, and with hundreds of high-resolution photos, our replica was painstakingly crafted and paint-mastered to give fans a special piece of history with direct lineage to the original artifact.
At approximately 7.5″ tall and 8″ long (including the black display base), each resin maquette is meticulously hand painted in many layers. The maquette can be displayed with or without the included black base.
Do not miss this extraordinary opportunity to bring home an authentic replica made with the original digital sculpture and with access that you won’t find anywhere else!
Each statue in this signature edition includes a metal plaque, is hand packed in a gloss black box with foam insert and COA.
