Star Wars: The Mandalorian, the Star Wars™ live-action series, is one of the most popular series on Disney+. After the exciting finale of Season 2, fans cannot wait for Season 3's release!
This series has introduced exciting new characters to the Star Wars galaxy. Din Djarin™, The Mandalorian™, has become one of the fan favorites. He is wrapped in mystery and we still do not know who this well-equipped stranger is. The Mandalorian is battle-worn and tight-lipped, a formidable bounty hunter in an increasingly dangerous galaxy. His body is shielded by beskar armor and his face is hidden behind the iconic T-Visor helmet.
Utilizing master patterns made by Legacy Effects, EFX’s engineers, model-makers and artists have produced a faithful recreation of this new prop replica helmet. The paint detail on the helmet is hand-painted to be screen accurate to the original helmet.

I took the helmet out of the box, got a good feel for it because I was in a poorly lit room. I liked the weight, the ear pieces are made of metal, overall it seems like a good build. The interior is completely missing, not super critical but it is done in the Hasbro Black Edition, so no bonus points there. Now the downside... the paint job. It's atrocious. I'm not an artist and I could have done better. It's only following the lines, looks like a single pass with a sponge quickly padded across the lines, nothing removed. It looks bad, really bad. I'd rather have not had any paint. The back is just barely airbrushed, weathering is only that single sponge pass, one color of light gray. It's woefully unimpressive. I would be embarrassed to wear or display this due to the fact that I paid decent money for it. I wish I could put a picture in here to show how bad it is because it's hard to believe, it looks nothing like the pictures. And mind you, it actually states on the product listing that "The paint detail on the helmet is hand-painted to be screen accurate to the original helmet." It is not, it's not even painted, just sponged. I have a ticket in with Sideshow, we'll see what happens.
