The UA series welcomes Return of Ultraman, still hugely popular 55 years after it first aired, as a commanding 40cm figure with built-in light and sound features.
Produced with supervision from Tsuburaya Productions' LSS (Light Sculpture Studio), the figure faithfully recreates the fine detail and distinctive styling of the suit used in the show's early episodes.
There are two different settings. The first plays the transformation sound while the eyes and the Color Timer light up blue, followed by the familiar background tracks "Ultraman Appears" and "Ultraman Standing in the Sunset." The second instead flashes the Color Timer red in time with the timer sound for around 20 seconds before unleashing the Specium Ray sound effect. Ultraman's own voice clips are included as well.
Swapping the optional arm parts lets you recreate both a fighting pose and the Specium Ray, and a left glove wearing the Ultra Bracelet, the finishing weapon introduced in episode 18, is included so you can display him however you prefer.
Two base stickers are included, one with the series logo and one with the Ultra Sign logo. This is the definitive figure of the hero who defined the second kaiju boom of the 1970s.
