Black Panther Brings Home Marvel Studios’ First Three Oscars

Black Panther made history at the 91st Academy Awards, bringing home Marvel Studios’s first ever Oscars. The film won Best Costume Design, Best Production Design, and Best Original Score, out of eight total nominations. Sony’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse won for Best Animated Feature, and Disney’s Bao won Best Animated Short.


BBC Premieres First Look Teaser for His Dark Materials

The BBC Network has released the first official teaser for its upcoming adaptation of Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials trilogy. The eight-part series follows the adventures of a girl named Lyra and her companion daemon in Oxford, England. His Dark Materials stars Dafne Keen, James McAvoy, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and more.

HBO Previews 2019 Slate Including Watchmen, Deadwood, and More

A new teaser for HBO’s 2019 television lineup features brief new clips of Game of Thrones, Watchmen, Deadwood, and more. The Watchmen footage features some of the show’s masked police, as well as Ozymandias celebrating a birthday. All these shows, films, and more are set to premiere on HBO sometime this year.

John Krasinski Confirms A Quiet Place Part 2 Details

Actor and director John Krasinski has confirmed via Instagram that A Quiet Place Part 2 is currently in development. Stars Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe, and Millicent Simmonds are all in talks to return. Krasinski’s post also revealed that A Quiet Place Part 2 is set to open in theaters on May 15th, 2020.
