Blumhouse Sets Release Date for Black Christmas Remake

Blumhouse Productions has revealed the release date for the upcoming remake of Black Christmas. The holiday horror film will be directed by Sophia Takal with a script by April Wolf as sorority girls are picked off one by one. The Black Christmas remake is set to open in theaters on Friday the 13th this December.

Gerard Way Teases The Umbrella Season 2 Table Read

Musician Gerard Way has shared a sneak peek at production for The Umbrella Academy Season 2 on Netflix. Shared on his Instagram, Way teased that table reads are currently underway for the sophomore outing of this bizarre superhero series. The Umbrella Academy Season 1, based on the Dark Horse comics by the same name, is currently streaming on Netflix.

Warner Bros. has released the official trailer for its upcoming horror film based on the 1968 variety show The Banana Splits Adventure Hour. These lovable animal mascots take a dark turn in this film as they begin to murder people at a show taping. The Banana Splits movie is expected to hit digital and Blu-ray later this year.

Netflix Renews Love, Death and Robots for Season 2

Netflix has renewed its animated anthology series Love, Death and Robots for a second season. The first season featured 18 different stories ranging between 6-17 minutes, all mixing sci-fi, fantasy, horror, and comedy. There is no premiere date set for Love, Death and Robots Season 2 just yet.
