DC Set To #ReleaseTheSnyderCut

After years of fan support and constant conversation and controversy, DC confirmed that they are going to #ReleaseTheSnyderCut. Zack Snyder is assembling the original post-production team so that they can create all of the edits and special effects from his original vision. The rerelease of Zack Snyder’s Justice League will premiere on HBO Max in 2021.

Madame Web Movie

According to Variety, S.J. Clarkson is set to direct a new Spider-Man spinoff film. While Sony hasn’t confirmed the character, Variety reports that it might be Madame Web. Whoever the character is, Variety confirmed that this will be the first female-centric movie from Sony’s catalog of Marvel characters.

Heroes and Villains Film

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Director David Robert Mitchell is set to write and direct a new superhero film called Heroes and Villains. Unlike most modern superhero films, this movie won’t be based on any pre-existing source materials. And while there is no release date, Mitchell has already written the script for Heroes and Villains.

The Old Guard Trailer

Netflix and Skydance Films released a trailer for their new movie The Old Guard. The Old Guard follows a group of mercenaries who can’t be killed as they fight to stop a new threat looking to weaponize their ability to never die. The Old Guard will premiere on Netflix on July 10th.
