Syfy Developing Live-Action Lobo Series

Syfy has confirmed that they are developing a life-action Lobo series based on the intergalactic DC Comics bounty hunter. The character, played by Emmett J. Scanlan, will make his on-screen debut in Krypton Season 2 before biking off into his own series. There is no premiere date set for the Lobo series just yet, but Krypton Season 2 is currently airing on Syfy.

Epix Releases New Pennyworth Trailer

Epix has unveiled a new trailer for their upcoming Batman prequel series Pennyworth, starring Jack Bannon and Ben Aldridge. The trailer shows young Alfred crossing paths with Thomas Wayne, who needs his protection after uncovering a massive criminal plot in 1960s London. Pennyworth premieres on Epix on July 28th.

Michael Rooker Cast in Amazon’s The Dark Tower

Actor Michael Rooker, known for his roles in The Walking Dead and Guardians of the Galaxy, has joined the cast of Amazon’s The Dark Tower series. Details about Rooker’s role are currently unknown, but he is assumed to be a main villain from the novels. Amazon’s The Dark Tower currently has no premiere date.

Anthony Bourdain’s Hungry Ghosts Gets Animated Adaptation

Sony Pictures Animation is currently developing the horror comic anthology Hungry Ghosts as a television series. Created by Anthony Bourdain and Joel Rose, Hungry Ghosts is a series of frightening and twisted ghost stories with ties to the culinary arts. There are no other details about the Hungry Ghosts animated series at this time.
