DC Entertainment has announced the name of its upcoming streaming app, as well as its first television offerings. The streaming platform, called DC Universe, will launch with the live-action series Titans, as well as the highly anticipated third season of its animated series Young Justice.

The recently announced Harley Quinn animated series rounds out the first wave of shows coming to DC Universe, but plans have also been announced for a live-action Superman prequel called Metropolis, as well as a live-action Swamp Thing show helmed by Aquaman director James Wan.

The showrunner for Netflix’s upcoming Sabrina the Teenage Witch series has revealed the show’s official title. The series will be called Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, sharing the title with the comic series upon which it’s based. Starring actress Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina, this show is a dark and occult spin on the classic Archie Comics character.

The streaming service Hulu has announced its plans to renew the Emmy-winning drama The Handmaid’s Tale for a third season. The dystopian series is based on Margaret Atwood’s bestselling novel, and has won more than 30 awards to date. Seasons 1 and 2 of The Handmaid’s Tale are currently streaming on Hulu.

Hulu has released a trailer for its upcoming shared-universe series based in the world of Stephen King’s classic horror novels. The show is titled Castle Rock, named after the town in Maine where King’s novels Cujo, Needful Things, The Dead Zone, and The Dark Half take place. The 10-episode horror series will begin streaming on Hulu on July 25th.

Riverdale has just promoted two of its newer faces to series regulars for Season 3. Actor Charles Melton and actress Vanessa Morgan have been promoted as their characters Reggie Mantle and Toni Topaz for the new season. Riverdale currently airs Wednesday nights on the CW.
