Geek Headlines – December 16th 2017

Here are today’s headlines from the world of geek news.

Marvel has released a new television spot for its upcoming film Black Panther, in theaters February 16th. The clip features T’Challa preparing to introduce Wakanda, the very secretive nation, to the outside world, along with brief new footage of some fight sequences from the film.

The TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood is hosting a Star Wars exhibit of collectibles and fine art co-curated by Sideshow. The gallery opened on December 14th with the release of The Last Jedi, and runs through the end of January 2018. Fans have a chance to view these museum-quality Star Wars collectibles up close and enter a sweepstakes to win a Life-Size R2-D2 figure.

Warner Bros. have released the first look at the live action versions of heroes Hawk and Dove from the upcoming Titans series. Alan Ritchson plays Hawk, while Minka Kelly portrays his partner Dove.  They join the previously previewed Robin as some of the first visuals of the Titans television show.

Nintendo has announced that Pokemon Crystal version, originally for the Gameboy Color device, will be receiving a digital re-release through the Nintendo E-Shop. The game will be available for the 3DS system, and will retain its original 8-bit display.
