Marvel has announced an upcoming animated super team franchise set to launch in 2018 called Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors. The series will consist of several animated shorts and then a longer feature film, and the team includes heroes such as Squirrel Girl, America Chavez, Patriot, and Lockjaw the dog.

CBS All Access has officially greenlit a revival of the Twilight Zone anthology series headed by producer Jordan Peele. Joining Peele are producers Simon Kinberg and Marco Ramirez, who aim to reintroduce a modern reimagining of this classic series, blending sci-fi, horror, and fantasy in the Twilight Zone tradition.

The 2017 Game Awards ceremony has brought out some of the best and biggest video game announcements as the year comes to an end. Among the reveals were previews of a game based on the apocalyptic World War Z universe, a look forward at new Legend of Zelda content from Nintendo, and the news that a third installment of the popular Bayonetta series is in development.

Ryan Reynolds has been officially cast in Legendary’s live-action Pokemon film, currently known as Detective Pikachu. His role? The titular Detective Pikachu himself. The role is said to be motion-capture based, and the movie begins shooting in January 2018.
