Iron Man Day 2021 Booth Tour

In honor of Tony Stark’s birthday in Marvel Comics, Sideshow celebrated Iron Man Day on Saturday, May 29th. In honor of everyone’s favorite futurist, we busted open the top secret lab and partied like a genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist with product spotlights, giveaways, game shows, and Sideshow rewards.

The centerpiece of the day was a booth tour through our very own Hall of Armor, showing off new and upcoming Iron Man collectible releases from Sideshow, Hot Toys, and Iron Studios, including designs and armors from Marvel Comics and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Activate House Party Protocol and check out all the highlights from the event below.

The booth featured over a dozen different products in varying scales, from impressive Iron Man Life-Size figures down to 1:10 statues. A number of Hot Toys Sixth Scale Figures, many sporting unique diecast armor elements, dominated the display, encapsulating Tony’s many technological creations on the page and the silver screen.

The recently revealed Tony Stark (Mark V Suit Up Version) was spotlighted, showing the incredible likeness of Robert Downey Jr. suiting up in the “suitcase” armor from Iron Man 2. The villainous Whiplash Sixth Scale Figure also appeared in a nearby display, giving fans a glimpse at how they could recreate the iconic Monaco speedway scene in their home collections.

Hot Toys also shared their unique Iron Man Sixth Scale Figure from the Origins Collection- Comics Masterpiece Series, recreating Tony’s classic comic book appearance in a 3-dimensional collectible format. Reimagined with clear armor casing to protect the red and gold finish and a delux figure stand, this Iron Man is a must-have for comic book collectors!

The Hot Toys display also included closer looks at the Iron Man Mark IV Holographic Armor, Iron Spider from Marvel’s Spider-Man (based on Tony Stark’s gift to Peter Parker in the infamous Civil War comics storyline), Rhodey’s War Machine armor, Tony Stark’s Team Suit from Endgame, Mark XXI (Midas), and more. The massive Hulkbuster Sixth Scale Figure also made an appearance, showing the immense size of one of Iron Man’s most significant suits.

Additionally, Iron Studios had several of their hand-painted, highly detailed 1:10 scale statues on display, capturing key moments in Iron Man’s journey throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Mysterio’s frightening zombified Iron Man Illusion Statue from Spider-Man: Far From Home featured green smoke-like environment base and drone accessory. Fans looking to pay tribute to Tony Stark’s ultimate sacrifice needed look no further than the iconic I Am Iron Man Statue, showing Tony preparing to use the nano gauntlet built into his suit to save humanity.

Also on display were the Pepper Potts in Rescue Suit Statue and the Iron Man Mark LXXXV Deluxe Statue, rounding out this mostly Avengers: Endgame themed offering.

Finally, alongside several of Iron Man Life-Size Figures, Sideshow displayed the Iron Man Mark VII Maquette, an action-packed piece with numerous light up features to relive the epic battle from Marvel’s Avengers (2012). The exploding Chitauri glider base features plumes of smoke sculpted to look like Tony’s right in the thick of battle, as he deploys a wrist rocket from his armor.

Also featured in the Hall of Armor was the blue metallic Iron Man Stealth Suit Statue from the 1:5 scale Avengers Assemble collection, recreating iconic comic book appearances of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. With light up features in the eyes, arc reactor, and repulsors, fans can activate this armor in their collection before it slips away.

Guided by Sideshow host Paul Hernandez Stark, this trip to Tony’s personal collection of armors is sure to inspire fans around the globe to upgrade and enhance their own collections at home with these exciting upcoming and in-stock Iron Man figures available at Sideshow.
