J.J. Abrams to Write Spider-Man Comic Series

Filmmaker J.J. Abrams and his son Henry are teaming with Marvel Comics artist Sara Pichelli to write a new Spider-Man series. The five-part miniseries will introduce a new villain to the Marvel Universe named Cadaverous who will cause problems for Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson. Spider-Man #1 will hit the shelves at local comic stores this September.


Aldis Hodge Joins The Invisible Man Cast

According to Deadline, actor Aldis Hodge has joined the cast of Blumhouse and Universal’s upcoming remake of The Invisible Man. There are no details about who Hodge will play in the film, but he joins previously announced cast Elisabeth Moss and Storm Reid. The Invisible Man is scheduled to open in theaters on March 13th, 2020.


A First Look at Greta Gerwig’s Little Women Film

Vanity Fair has revealed a first look at filmmaker Greta Gerwig’s upcoming adaptation of Little Women. The film is based on the classic novel of the same name, and stars Emma Watson, Laura Dern, Meryl Streep, Saoirse Ronan, Timothee Chalamet, and more. Little Women will open in theaters on December 25th this year.


Boomerang Releases First Trailer for Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?

The Boomerang streaming service has released the first official trailer for Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?, a new animated series. This show will feature celebrity cameos in each episode, with guests including Weird Al Yankovic, Jaleel White as Steve Urkel, and even characters like Batman and Wonder Woman. Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? premieres on Boomerang on June 27th, and the series hits Cartoon Network in July.
