Marvel’s Vision and Scarlet Witch Series Finds Showrunner

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the upcoming Vision and Scarlet Witch series on Disney+ has found its writer and showrunner. Screenwriter Jac Schaeffer, who has previously worked on the Captain Marvel movie, will pen the pilot script and will showrun the series. The Vision and Scarlet Witch series does not have a premiere date just yet.

YouTube Premium Debuts Weird City Trailer

YouTube has released the first official trailer for Jordan Peele’s satirical sci-fi anthology series Weird City. The series boasts cast members like Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson, Awkwafina, Steven Yeun, and more. Weird City will stream exclusively on YouTube Premium beginning February 13th.

Stellan Skarsgard Joins Dune Reboot as Baron Harkonnen

Actor Stellan Skarsgard has joined the cast of Legendary’s adaptation of Dune, the epic sci-fi novel by Frank Herbert. Skarsgard will play Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, the sworn enemy of the house Atreides. Previously announced cast include Rebecca Ferguson, Dave Bautista, and Timothee Chalamet.

Karen Gillan Cast in Assassin Thriller Gunpowder Milkshake

According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress Karen Gillan is set to star in the upcoming assassin film Gunpowder Milkshake. The action thriller is being produced by Studiocanal and The Picture Company, and plot details are being kept under wraps. Gunpowder Milkshake does not currently have a release date.
