Legendary Pictures to Adapt Bitter Root Comic for Feature Film

According to Deadline, Legendary Pictures has acquired the film rights for the horror-action series Bitter Root from Image Comics. Bitter Root follows an African-American family of monster hunters in Harlem during the Jazz Age. The series creators David F. Walker, Sanford Greene, and Chuck Brown will executive produce the film with Legendary.

First Look at Batman: Hush Animated Film

IGN has debuted the first look at the next animated DC film from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, Batman: Hush. Based on the acclaimed storyline, the film will feature Jason O’Mara as Batman, Jennifer Morrison as Selina Kyle, and Maury Sterling as Thomas Elliot. Batman: Hush comes to Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital this summer.

BBC America Debuts Final Killing Eve Season 2 Trailer

BBC America has debuted the final trailer for Season 2 of its hit series Killing Eve. According to the official synopsis, the murder drama’s sophomore season picks up 36 seconds after the final episode of Season 1. Killing Eve stars Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer, and returns to BBC America on April 7th.

Actress Sonoya Mizuno Joins Mouse Guard

According to Deadline, actress Sonoya Mizuno has just joined the cast of Fox’s adaptation of Mouse Guard. Mizuno is set to play the title character, and the film will be shot using motion capture. She joins previously cast actors Idris Elba, Andy Serkis, and Thomas Brodie-Sangster in the project.
