New Alien Revealed from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

Star Wars released an official image of one the new aliens we will meet in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The tiny Anzellan droidsmith is named Babu Frik, and we learned that he works among the Spice Runners of Kijimi and can reprogram or modify virtually any droid — regardless of the security measures protecting its systems. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will fly into theaters on December 20th.


New Avengers VR Game

Marvel and ILMxLAB released an official trailer for their new VR experience called Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Damage Control. The trailer shows nanotechnology forming suits that seem to combine Iron Man and Black Panther technology, as the leading scientist in Wakanda, Shuri, invites you to test her new prototype design. Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Damage Control, the VR experience, will be available at The Void, a VR gaming shop, starting on October 18th.


Dean DeBlois to Direct Treasure Island Live-Action Adaptation

According to Deadline, writer and director Dean DeBlois, known for the How to Train Your Dragon trilogy, is set to direct a new live-action adaptation of Treasure Island. He’ll be directing and working on the story with Evan Spiliotopoulos. There is no further news about the Dean DeBlois’ live action Treasure Island adaptation at this time.


New Trailer for The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners VR Game

Skydance Interactive and Skybound Games released an official cinematic trailer for their upcoming VR game The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners. The cinematic trailer actually follows a backpack from its original owner as we see the dead start walking, and we see the backpack and all of its supplies changing hands as everyone fights to survive. The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners VR game is set to be released on January 23, 2020.
